ChampionScott Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Hallmen as Chief Revenue Officer at Scale Computing.  Scale Computing integrates storage, servers, and virtualization software into an all-in-one appliance based system that is scalable, self-healing and as easy to manage as a single server.  Dave brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, and operating leadership experience with him to Scale Computing.

Prior to joining Scale Computing, Dave was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Marketing at EVault, an industry leading SaaS data protection service provider acquired by Seagate Technology.  In this role, he was responsible for managing all customer-facing business functions.  Before EVault, Dave spent five years as Chief Operating Officer at ProClarity Corporation.  ProClarity, acquired by Microsoft, developed the industry’s leading ADE (analytic development environment) used to create custom BI applications by upper mid-market and enterprise class customers.

Dave spent time as Vice President of Business Development at VERITAS Software after the company he worked for, Seagate Software merged with VERITAS. Previously, Dave was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Artisoft, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of PC network hardware and software.

Dave attended the University of Arizona where he studied Management Information Systems. Dave has served on the boards of Calgary Scientific Inc., MyStateUSA, Meridex Software Corp., ProClarity, 180 Connect Inc., 90 Degree Software, and Apparent Networks Inc.
