Mr. Samuel brings over 20 years of broad business experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, business development, strategic and emerging business planning, and consulting with him to immixGroup. He has spent his career focused on realizing value for diverse businesses ranging from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups.
Mr. Samuel was most recently Co-Founder and CFO of Spear Incorporated, where he defined and established the financial, accounting, HR, contract, procurement, and IT functions of a new business. Prior to Spear, Mr. Samuel was CFO of Dell Inc.’s $1B+ public services business unit, where he successfully integrated two federal lines of business producing cost and operational efficiencies while achieving governmental regulatory compliance. Previously, he was CFO of Perot Systems Government Services (PSGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Perot Systems, and was a key player, leading the integration of PSGS into Dell. Earlier in his career, Mr. Samuel was in successive general management, business development and IT consulting leadership roles with Nikusa Consulting, Travelocity.com, Sabre and Benefit Mall. Mr. Samuel began his professional career as a programmer and analyst at Keane Consulting in Denver, CO.Mr. Samuel was most recently Co-Founder and CFO of Spear Incorporated, where he
Mr. Samuel earned his Bachelor of Science in both Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Colorado. He earned his MBA from Indiana University. Mr. Samuel was named by ExecutiveBiz as one of 2010’s “10 CFO’s to Watch.”
