ChampionScott Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Gene Wojciechowski as Chief Information Officer to Newgistics, a leading provider of end-to-end commerce technology and logistics solutions for top retailers and brands. Gene brings nearly 30 years of technology and information systems leadership expertise from working with companies such as Walmart.com, UPS Freight Services and Staples to his new role at Newgistics.
Gene was most recently Vice President of Global Technology for the North American Commercial and Supply Chain business at Staples, where he was responsible for the engineering efforts for the third largest ecommerce site and second largest omni-channel site globally. Prior to Staples, Gene was Chief Information Officer of Walmart.com, where he led global eCommerce engineering, product development and site operations. Before joining Walmart, Gene was VP of Technology for Ensenda, a leading third party logistics provider for local delivery and last mile logistics.
Gene spent six years at UPS Freight Services as Chief Information Officer, responsible for the global computing requirements for the leading logistics provider. Earlier in his career, Gene held technology leadership roles at USL Capital Corporation, GE Capital Fleet Services and PHH Group, Inc.
Gene earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Business Administration from Towson University and his MBA Information Systems from the University of Maryland.
