ChampionScott Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Schoen as Vice President, Marketing Services at Neustar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR), the trusted provider of real-time, cloud-based information services and analytics enabling marketing and IT security professionals to promote and protect their businesses.  Mr. Schoen has an extensive background in strategy, product, and technology leadership and will lead Neustar’s vision and design of Advertising and Marketing Services solutions.

Most recently, Mr. Schoen was Executive Vice President, Product at Mediabrands Audience Platform (MAP), a unit within IPG Mediabrands that is responsible for enabling the products and advertising technologies that support their programmatic practices across all global markets. During his four year tenure, he defined the product roadmap focused on improving marketing results for clients across all digitally addressable channels. Prior to MAP, Mr. Schoen spent ten years at LookSmart where he grew from Director, Technology to Vice President & General Manager, Advertising Platforms. As VP & GM, Mr. Schoen  owned the P&L for ad network and the emerging SaaS platform licensing business.  Previously, Mr. Schoen was Director, Technology at both Zeal Media Inc. and Warner / Elektra / Atlantic Inc., a Time Warner Company.  He began his career as a Consultant at Andersen Consulting LLP.

Mr. Schoen earned his AB in Computer Science from Harvard University and his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.  He has four patents pending related to internet advertising.
