ChampionScott Partners announces the appointment of Jeffrey Scott as Chief Commercial Officer at GAIN Capital. Mr. Scott brings with him over 15 years of experience leading technology teams to deliver digital products in and around the financial services industry.
Mr. Scott has direct responsibility for GAIN’s retail business operations, including client services and financial operations teams. He also oversees the firm’s partner services organization, which manages GAIN’s relationships with white label partners, introducing brokers and other financial services firms.
Mr. Scott joins GAIN Capital from Toluna USA, where he served as President. Previously, he held senior positions at several digital media businesses including LexisNexis and SourceMedia. Prior to that, from 1999 until 2005, Mr. Scott held senior leadership positions at Thomson Financial, now ThomsonReuters, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer.
Mr. Scott received his MBA from the University of Maryland and his B.S. in computer science from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
