ChampionScott Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Gillespie as Chief Sales Officer to CoSentry.  Mr. Gillespie brings a wealth of sales leadership experience driving rapid revenue growth within the cloud, collocation, and managed services industry.

Mr. Gillespie joins CoSentry from SAVVIS, Inc., where he held several senior sales leadership roles during his nine year tenure. He was consistently tasked as a change agent to lead and execute on high priority revenue generating initiatives.  In his most recent role as Area Vice President of Sales, he set the strategic direction to deliver SAVVIS’ suite of global infrastructure as a service (IaaS), consulting/professional services, and cloud-based solutions to clients throughout the East Region and for four unique lines of business across North America.

Prior to joining SAVVIS, Inc., Mr. Gillespie held a sales leadership position with AT&T, focused on the direct sales of AT&T products and services to Fortune 500 enterprises. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gillespie joined Critical IP (a STG Company) and CAIS Internet with a proven track record of consistently meeting sales objectives.

Mr. Gillespie attended the United States Naval Academy and earned his BA in History from Ashwood University.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Henry Viscardi School.
