ChampionScott Partners has placed Henry C. Lyons as Chief Financial Officer of GAIN Capital, a market leader in the online foreign exchange (forex or FX) industry (http://www.gaincapital.com). GAIN Capital’s investors include: 3i Group, Vantage Point Venture Partners, Tudor Ventures, Edison Venture Fund, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Blue Rock Capital.

Mr. Lyons brings over 20 years of financial management experience to GAIN Capital. As Chief Financial Officer, he will be responsible for strategic business planning and forecasting, financial accounting and reporting, corporate development and investor relations activities. Mr. Lyons joins GAIN Capital from ACI Worldwide, a global provider of e-payment processing software and services to financial institutions, retailers and service providers in over 80 countries, where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lyons brings a wealth of additional experience from his previous positions at Discovery Systems – a unit of GE Healthcare, W.R. Grace & Company and Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for audits of both private and public companies, internal and SEC reporting, growth and productivity initiatives, financial planning and analysis, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring activities.

Mr. Lyons was certified as a public accountant, earned his MBA from New York Institute of Technology and holds a BBA in Accounting from Millsaps College.
