Mr. Riera brings 20+ years of operational leadership experience to Promethean and will work to support the accelerated growth of the company as they deliver technology solutions that will revolutionize and redefine the modern classroom.
Vin Riera was most recently CEO and Director at Collegis Education, a leading provider of technology, marketing, and academic programs for service providers and higher education institutions. Before joining Collegis, he served as President, CEO and Director of Edmentum, a leader in software curriculum and assessment solutions for kindergarten through adult learners. Mr. Riera also held senior leadership roles at Gateway, Inc. culminating as Vice President of the $1.1B Professional business unit.
Additionally, Mr. Riera held successive sales leadership roles at Equant Inc. (now Orange Business Services) where he was responsible for leading commercial organizations delivering data and professional services to the Global 1000. Vin’s early career was founded on excellent developmental experiences at Verizon and GE Capital Commercial Direct, well known for their professional training and development. Vin is also a Director serving on the Board of Advisors for Computype.
Mr. Riera earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Western New England University.
