Peter Shambora placed as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at CodeGear

December 2006 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Peter Shambora as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at CodeGear, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Borland (http://www.borland.com) that delivers innovative, high-productivity development tools for a wide spectrum of software developers ranging from individuals to enterprise teams.

Mr. Shambora joins CodeGear from DataCenter Technologies, an enterprise storage management software company, where he was the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to DCT, Mr. Shambora was the President and CEO of Rasvia, an enterprise storage technology start-up and the Founder, President and CEO of StorageWay, now a leading SSP (storage service provider). Prior to StorageWay, Mr. Shambora was the Senior Vice President of Sales at MTI, a leading supplier of enterprise storage products, and served in marketing and sales executive positions at several leading technology companies. Mr. Shambora began his career in the United States Navy, Aviation, where he served ten years before retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.

Mr. Shambora holds a BS in Industrial Management from San Jose State University and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
