Ed Armstrong Placed as the Vice President of Operations of Reflectivity

December 2005 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Ed Armstrong as the Vice President of Operations for Reflectivity. Reflectivity is a Silicon Valley based pre-IPO company which has developed high-definition micromirror arrays for business and entertainment digital projectors. Its underlying MEMS based technology provides high image quality performance at breakthrough costs. Reflectivity is funded by leading venture capital firms including JP Morgan Partners, Vanguard Ventures, Ignite Group, Acer Ventures, VentureTech (TSMC), Investar, and AsiaTech .

Ed Armstrong joins Reflectivity from Summit Microelectronics . Ed worked at Summit Microelectronics for over six years, beginning at the company's initial product introduction stage and helped them ramp to high volume production and prepare them for their expected IPO in 2006. Prior to Summit, Ed was with Arithmos, another Silicon Valley start-up company , where he was the Vice President of Operations . Ed was with Arithmos for five years until the company was sold to ST Microelectronics. Before Arithmos, Ed was the Vice President of Operations & Procurement for Western Digital Corporation. From 1984 to 1993, Ed worked for GM Hughes Electronics , and was previously President and Chief Technical Officer of Hughes Identification Devices. Ed began his career with Intel Corporation and has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
