Tom Foster Placed as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at DisplayLink Corporation

November 2006 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Tom Foster as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales at DisplayLink Corporation (http://www.displaylink.com). DisplayLink is a fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Cambridge, U.K. and Silicon Valley focused on developing network graphics technology that allows more flexible connections to be made between computers and monitors. DisplayLink has been funded by leading venture capital firms Atlas Venture and Benchmark.

Mr. Foster was most recently Vice President Worldwide Sales at Atheros Communications, Inc., a $200+ million public WLAN semiconductor company, where he grew sales from $22 million in 2002 to $130 million in 2005. Prior to Atheros, Mr. Foster was the Vice President Asia Sales for Virata, a start up company supplying integrated software on semiconductors for xDSL and related broadband applications. Earlier in his career, Mr. Foster was the Executive Director, International Sales at Hyundai Electronics and the International Sales Manager at Compression Labs. He started his sales career with IBM/Rolm. Mr. Foster holds a BS Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
