Hubert R. Engelbrechten Placed as the Chief Executive Officer of GTronix

November 2005 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Hubert R. Engelbrechten as the Chief Executive Officer for GTronix (www.gtronix.com). GTronix is a fabless semiconductor company based in Fremont, Calfornia focused on ultra-low power, high-speed signal processing integrated circuits (ICs) that offer orders of magnitude power savings for mobile device applications. GTronix has been funded by Menlo Ventures, one of the premier venture capital firms in Silicon Valley.

Hubert Engelbrechten was most recently Senior Vice President, Corporate Officer and General Manager of the Integrated Circuits Group at Fairchild Semiconductor, where he managed a group with $800 million in annual revenues and 700 employees in four global locations. Prior to Fairchild Semiconductor, Hubert was the Vice President of the Analog Group at Raytheon Semiconductor and was responsible for their $100 million Analog IC business. Before Fairchild, Hubert was with National Semiconductor in various product and marketing roles for the U.S., European and Asian markets. In his early career, Hubert worked for Siemens and Degussa based in Hong Kong and Germany respectively.
