Rob Baxter Placed as Chief Executive Officer of Centrality Communications

November 2004 - Mr. Baxter brings over 28 years of global semiconductor experience in the consumer, communications, and automotive markets to Centrality. Prior to Centrality, Mr. Baxter was Chief Executive at Xan3D where he led the company through a successful funding round and refocused the company on its core stacking technology strengths.

Prior to his CEO assignment at Xan3D, Mr. Baxter held the position of Senior Vice President and Member of Office of the President at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing - one of the world's top Pure Play Foundries. In his role at Chartered, he drove the customer, product and business strategies, which successfully positioned the company for its IPO in 1999.

Mr. Baxter also held Vice President and General Manager positions in Europe, USA and Asia during a 16-year career at Motorola. Among his accomplishments were the successful leadership of Motorola's European Microcontroller, DSP, and Microprocessor Operations, Advanced Digital Consumer Division based in Tokyo, and Consumer and Smartcard Microcontroller Division based in Austin. Under his guidance and leadership, these product divisions demonstrated significant revenue, profit and market share growth with excellent track records of customer service and support.
