Executive Team Built by ChampionScott Creates $283 Million Exit

October 2007 - Centrality Communications, whose entire commercial-facing executive team was recruited by ChampionScott Partners, was acquired for $283 Million last month by SiRF Technology (NASD:SIRF).

ChampionScott Partners began working with Centrality in 2004 to recruit a CEO to take over the reigns from the founder. After successfully completing the CEO search, ChampionScott Partners conducted searches for Centrality’s VP Worldwide Sales, VP SoC Engineering/GM China, and VP Manufacturing & Operations. These roles were based in Silicon Valley, Shanghai and Taiwan.

This executive team drove Centrality from revenues of less than $5 million in 2003 to their recent acquisition by SiRF, generating a return of well in excess of 10X for early investors. Centrality was funded by Menlo Ventures, Walden International, Focus Ventures, Acer Ventures, VentureTech Alliance and Harbinger Ventures.
