Chuck Fox Placed as Chief Executive Officer at KeyEye Communications

October 2006 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Chuck Fox, a semiconductor veteran and Silicon Valley entrepreneur, with over twenty years experience in such notable companies as Chameleon, Intel and Xilinx as the Chief Executive Officer of KeyEye Communications (http://www.keyeye.net). KeyEye is a fabless semiconductor company developing 10 Gbps copper-media transceivers including communications system design, communications algorithms, analog and mixed-signal design, Digital System and DSP design, and VLSI integration. KeyEye is funded by Menlo Ventures, American River Ventures, Blueprint Ventures and Technology Funding.

Most recently, Mr. Fox was the Vice President of Marketing at Cradle Technologies, a multiprocessor DSP semiconductor startup. He had been the President and CEO of Chameleon Systems, a reconfigurable DSP processor startup, where he was recruited by the founders and the venture capitalist to create a business completely from scratch. There, he identified and launched into the 2G/3G wireless base station market segment. Prior to Chameleon Systems, Mr. Fox spent ten years at FPGA leader Xilinx, both as Division General Manager and as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing.

Prior to Xilinx, Mr. Fox spent ten years in various marketing positions with Intel in the microprocessor, peripheral and ASIC groups.

Mr. Fox received his MBA in Finance and BSEE in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
