Quellan is a leading edge communications technology company that designs and develops integrated circuits for high speed communications equipment with offices in Silicon Valley, Atlanta and Tokyo. The company is funded by Menlo Ventures, Cordova Ventures, Samsung Ventures and TSMC.

Mr. Ellis has over twenty years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He was most recently the Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Bandspeed, a fabless semiconductor WLAN company headquartered in Austin, TX. Prior to Bandspeed, Mr. Ellis was responsible for sales in North America and Asia at RF Micro Devices, a semiconductor manufacturer that specializes in IC's for Cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ellis worked with Intersil, Cadence, Harris Semiconductor, Honeywell and Texas Instruments. Mr. Ellis holds a BSEE Degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
