Robert Fang Placed as Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations at Centrality Communications

Dr. Fang has over twenty years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He was most recently the Vice President of Operations at Leadis Technology, a mixed-signal semiconductor company in Shintsu, Taiwan. Prior to Leadis, Dr. Fang was the Vice President of Operations for XGI Technology, a fabless IC design company in Taiwan. Earlier, Dr. Fang was the VP of Operations/Co-Founder of Divio Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA. Dr. Fang moved the company to Taiwan and later sold it to ESS Technology. Earlier in Dr. Fang's career, he was the Director of Technology and Operations at C-Cube Microsystems/LSI Logic and also held various management positions at Data General Corporation and Hewlett-Packard IC Laboratory. Dr. Fang holds three US patents in CMOS technology. He has a BSEE from National Taiwan University; MSEE and Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. With this appointment, Dr. Fang will be based in Centrality Communications' Taiwan office.
