John Alarcon Placed as the Vice President and Controller for NITC

June 2007 - ChampionScott Partners has placed John Alarcon as Vice President of Finance and Controller at Novasoft Information Technology Corporation (http://www.isgn.com). NITC is a leading global technology solutions company delivering business solutions focused on servicing the residential mortgage segment offering a full spectrum of Mortgage Technology Solutions, Advisory Services and BPO. NITC is well funded by K.K. Birla group, one of India's largest industrial and business conglomerates; NEA, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm; and NEA-IndoUS Ventures.

Prior to joining NITC, Mr. Alarcon served as business unit VP of Operations and Finance at SunGard, a leading multinational software and processing solutions company. While at SunGard, he was responsible for the Finance, HR, and Legal departments of a US subsidiary, resulting from an acquisition. He assisted with the due diligence process and post-acquisition integration of the company, while supervising and managing ongoing financial operations. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Alarcon served as VP and General Manager of North American Operations of XRT, an international, publicly-traded, financial software company.

Mr. Alarcon brings more than 20 years of diversified financial and operations management experience in the IT and financial services industry, including corporate finance, M&A, SEC and SOX compliance, and IT services. John Alarcon was named to Global Finance Magazine's "Who's Who in Finance" in 2005 and 2006. He also served as a Senior VP and divisional general manager at META Group (now Gartner), a publicly-held management and IT advisory firm operating in more than 30 countries worldwide.

Mr. Alarcon holds an MBA from the University of South Florida, a post-master's degree in strategic planning and control from the University of Paris Dauphine (France). He is also a CPA and certified treasury professional (CTP).
