Hamid Farzaneh Placed as Chief Executive Officer at Newnham Research

Newnham Research is a fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Cambridge, U.K and Silicon Valley focused on developing network graphics technology that allows more flexible connections to be made between computers and monitors. Newnham Research has been funded by leading venture capital firms Atlas Venture and Benchmark.

Hamid Farzaneh was most recently Executive Vice president, Sales and Business Development at Silicon Optix Inc., a fabless digital video and imaging start up based in Silicon Valley. Prior to Silicon Optix, Mr. Farzaneh was the co-founder and COO of Motion Sense Corp., a Fabless MEMS Controller startup. Before co-founding Motion Sense, Mr.Farzaneh was the executive vice president and COO for Genesis Microchip Corp. Earlier in Mr. Farzaneh’s career in the semiconductor industry, he had worked with various Fortune companies and start-ups including National Semiconductor, Qualys, Inc. and ASAT Inc.
