Dayi Sun Placed as Principal at Horsley Bridge
March 2006 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Dayi Sun as a Principal at Horsley Bridge, a leading fund of funds private equity firm with over $6 billion under management. Mr. Sun will be responsible for the firm's China strategy and will relocate to China after the company opens a local office.
Mr. Sun joins Horsley Bridge from Sybase Inc. where he was responsible for the firm's Asia Business Development activities based in Silicon Valley. Prior to Sybase, Mr. Sun worked with Metrius, a start-up management consulting firm as a senior management consultant for e-Business strategy. Metrius was bought by Bearing Point. Prior to relocating to the U.S., Mr. Sun was the product manager and business development manager for Whirlpool's China operation based in Shanghai. He also worked with Dun & Bradstreet as a risk management advisor.
Mr. Sun has an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Economics from Nankai University in China.
