Eric Huang Placed as Vice President of SOC and General Manager of China at Centrality Communications

March 2006 - ChampionScott Partners has placed Eric Huang as the Vice President of SOC and General Manager of China for Centrality Communications. Centrality Communications (www.centralitycomm.com) is a leading provider of semiconductor platforms for high-functional mobile devices including GPS Handhelds, PDA/Smartphones, and Automotive Navigations Systems. Centrality is well funded by leading venture capital firms including Menlo Ventures, Focus Ventures, Acer Ventures and Walden International.

Mr. Huang was most recently Vice President and General Manager for the Broadband Communications Group for Conexant Systems where he built Conexant's R&D center in China from scratch to over 80 people. Prior to moving to Shanghai, Mr. Huang was the Vice President of Engineering for the Imaging Communication Products Group for Conexant based in Newport Beach, CA. Before Conexant, Mr. Huang was the Director of Engineering for Silicon Systems which was sold to Texas Instruments. Prior to Silicon Systems, Eric founded Sigmax Technology and was the President & CEO. He sold the company to Adaptec and received 800% of his initial investment. In his earlier career, Eric worked with Silicon Systems and Rockwell International.
