Bob Ciccone Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cydelity

March 2005 - Bob Ciccone has joined Cydelity as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Cydelity, Mr. Ciccone was Executive Vice President of Services at ArcSight, the global leader in Enterprise Security Management (ESM), a pre-IPO company backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Bob served as Chief Operating Officer at ArcSight for the first two years of the company's existence, and co-led the company from inception including driving all aspects of formation, fund-raising and launch to its current profitable status.

Prior to ArcSight, Bob led the global B2C e-commerce initiatives of General Motors. He began his career as a consultant at Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), and later was with leading consulting firms Booz Allen & Hamilton and EDS/A.T. Kearney. He also served as Vice President of Product Strategy and Marketing with Oracle.

Based in Santa Clara, Cydelity (www.cydelity.com) is bringing a new fraud detection system to commercial and government enterprises to assure the "Cyber Fidelity" of online transactions. The privately-held company is currently in stealth mode, and has been backed by leading venture capital firms.
