Technology Search Veteran Bradley Dewey Joins as Managing Director

January 2007 - ChampionScott Partners, the world's premier retained executive search firm focused exclusively on recruiting senior leadership talent for the global technology industry and related sectors, is pleased to announce that executive search veteran Bradley Dewey has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Mr. Dewey brings over 30 years of experience in the global information technology industry as a chief executive officer, venture capital partner and executive search consultant. Brad will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, where he has lived since 1979, and will work closely with Sheri Johnson, ChampionScott Partners' Managing Director in London, on pan-European client work.

Prior to joining ChampionScott Partners, Brad founded Executive Search Geneva, an executive search firm specializing in the recruitment of senior executive leadership talent for the hardware, software, semiconductor, communications and Internet/media industries throughout Europe. Before founding Executive Search Geneva, Brad was the founder and Managing Partner of Christian & Timbers' pan-European executive search operations based in London. Prior to Christian & Timbers, he was a partner with the European search firm Hightech Partners in Geneva and Brussels, where he developed a significant European search practice in information technology, telecommunications and e-commerce.

Before becoming an executive search consultant, Mr. Dewey was a founding partner of Advent International's central European (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia) private equity funds. He was also a venture capital partner with Baring Venture Partners in London and Geneva, where he specialized in early-stage information technology and telecommunications investments. Earlier in his career, Brad held executive sales and marketing positions with Apollo Computers Europe and 16 years of sales and marketing management positions with Digital Equipment Corporation. To date, Brad has held non-executive positions on 14 boards of directors and has lived in the U. S., Denmark, Holland and Switzerland.

A native of Concord, Massachusetts, Mr. Dewey received his BA from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He is fluent in French and speaks conversational Danish and Dutch. A former ski instructor, Brad and his wife enjoy the Alps, skiing in the winter and motorcycle touring when time and weather permits.
