Ellen Richstone Placed as Chief Financial Officer of Sonus Networks

January 2005 - Executive search firm ChampionScott Partners has placed Ellen Richstone as Chief Financial Officer of Sonus Networks, Inc., based in Chelmsford, MA. Mrs. Richstone is expected to focus on continuing the development of a strong, world class financial organization and management team as the leader for all financial activities of the company including accounting, merger and acquisition activities, financial and SEC reporting, internal control, treasury and cash management and taxation. Other responsibilities include information systems, business planning and financial modeling, asset financing, acquisition evaluation and financing, capital market interface and investor relations.

Most recently Mrs. Richstone was the CEO of Entrepreneurial Resources Group, www.erg-usa.com and has held Chief Financial Officer and financial excutive responsibilities at companies ranging in size from $80m to $2B, including Augat, Brooks Automation, Data General, Honeywell Bull and Polaroid. Ellen brings a wealth of experience in M&A, systems, control and a variety of CFO roles to Sonus that will clearly assist in ensuring that the necessary accounting, process, systems and controls are rigorously implemented and followed to ensure the financial health and well being of the enterprise.
